[A]t the meeting, the company doing our effects showed us a monitor that can display 3D without glasses. It was surreal. For the first time I was witnessing the first incarnation of a technology that I can see revolutionizing the entertainment industry. The possibility that all the 3D films in the works right now will soon have a viable option for home exhibition without glasses is amazing. I feel like 3D might actually step out of the realm of being a gimmick and start getting integrated into the storytelling process.
