We're All So Derivative
We’re all so derivative and that’s ok.
I get in these funks where I feel like orignality is really the only key we have to real enlightenment, or at least a semblance of self actualization.
In the real world though that isn’t the case.
What is the case, is the fact that so much of your self worth and passion for what you do and who you are comes from within.
To innovate, or take baby steps from ideas you respect, or flat out be commercial - if any of these are your thing then sobeit. We all herd in the same way and are part of something bigger.
You might package it a different way.
You might rationalize your lifestyle or logic.
You may cater to your personalities strengths or weaknesses more or less.
Don’t hold yourself back with fear of replication or imitation. If your intention is right and your passion is there it will all make sense in the end.
