This was taken at the corner of La Brea and Beverly on June 21, 1975. Gas prices were, 57 cents, 59 cents, and 61 cents, respectively.
I got a call today from one of my best friends. He told me he was watching a video of us from 1999. We were on a road trip to Georgia (from FL) and for some reason I shot the gas price in the video. Guess what it was in Jan of 1999 in south GA?
74 cents a gallon.
