Not in an emo, oh woe is me - the world hates me so why try way.
Not in an there are so many emotions flooding through me that I can’t manage.
Not in an who will I work with? Will they be good? Will they get me? way.
More like a let’s hurry the hell up and make something - ANYTHING happen so I can tell myself I’m worth it, and the sacrifices I’m making actually ARE worth SOMETHING sort of way.
At times life seems like more of a distraction than an inspiration.
And while a muse or four would be fantastic, its just relief I seek.
