There are some people that I encounter in life and think “Gee I’d like to get to know that person and work on something with them. Anything really. It would just as cool to start a rock band or write a script with them as it would to run a tiny pizza stand.”
That my friends is a good trait to develop, hone, and be aware of.
Go through your friends, colleagues and acquaintances and try to see what traits over lap with these people that make them desirable to work with.
Some of the most successful groups of people I’ve encountered or followed have those traits. Because if it is always about the work people burn out - at some pont it’s got to be about the group.
