I went to a Happy Hour with my good friend (Will) one evening after work to meet a few of his friends. Once we arrived, I introduced myself to everyone and slowly started babysitting my vodka martini while waiting for my mushroom pizza appetizer to arrive.
So, while trying my best to keep up with conversations ranging from TV shows to sexual encounters at weddings, I thought to myself…. “what the f*ck is going on here?”… How does everyone know each other? Come to find out, Will neglected to tell me that everyone at the table knew each other from the amazing blogging community known as “Tumblr”.
Once I figured it out I realized that I’m still completely lost in the conversations because I’ve never blogged anything… ever. Then it hits me, could I become a blogger? If I do, what will I say? Will people think that what I write is clever? Can I openly write about the things that I ponder day to day? Hmmmmm….. that’s scary.
After great deliberation I made the decision… I will blog.
