I used to think it was somehow wrong to spruce up a scene before taking a photo, that I was somehow being dishonest. I don’t think that anymore.
We can use the internet to project idealized visions of our selves.
Jakob shares an interesting thought here in this “idealized vision(s)” of ourself. I think that the internet can do this as well as help hold us accountable to these visions, goals, or ideals we’d like to uphold or do a better job of striving towards. Sort of similar to taking a pubic oath.
