Went ice skating for the first time in … forever.
Pershing Square in Downtown LA has a (very very) little rink.
Then we went to the Standard Downtown’s rooftop bar, which was impressive at night.
Finally we ended up at the Golden Gopher (a new fave) and I played old school video game and drank water while the guys all tried to get drunk and pick up on our much older and severly tatooed waitress.
It was a great night, and an ideal of why I moved to LA. Access to places and people and things like this is just breath taking to me.
I met so many nice folks and had/heard neat conversations/stories.
I’ll definitely go ice skating again before it shuts down in Feb.
