While I don’t want to focus on the countdown per say, it lingers.
I’ve got 4 functional days stateside, but that’s about enough time to take a nap and enjoy a sweet tea when your from the South and in your hometown. Life-moves-slow.
I’ve purchased convertors and a mess of toiletries (as if Europeans don’t have deodorant) and all the while worked feverishly to finish my degree, start a business, and be a good steward of my remaining obligations to that which brought me home in the first place.
Let’s call it a “busy couple months”.
Change has come.
While I’ve been overwhelmed in the past I’ve never really felt that I’ve had a great grasp on the big picture. I’m starting to see changes in my life that allow me to do two key things:
Not care about things not worth caring about
Focus on things that need to be done and do them
For once juggling life, with the creative, the business, my family, and my personal goals is all starting to slowly make sense. I can’t tell you how much that all means to me. Thanks for being a big part of it.
Well, that’s enough pause for now, there’s too much too do - good things lay ahead.
