Thoughts on Flying Virgin America
Sleek design with all of the usual Virgin trappings abound. Pilots that wear leather jackets. Flight attendants with modern haircuts. Unique lighting in the entrance and cabins. A really neat inflight video describing safety emergency procedures that was animated etc. We were delayed today for 45 mins on the runway. New Issue of Script (magazine) Came in the Mail
While this might be my favorite magazine and it might have my favorite TV writer of all time (Aaron Sorkin) featured, all I wanted to do was read the liner notes on the strike - in long form, from various writers perspectives.
In reading this I noticed the same human perspective we seem to see in local press regarding the strike - but not so much in national pubs … trades even.

It Still Makes Me Giggle
The fact that folks in LA are SO bad with the rain it just plain amusing to me. It’s not like they don’t shower or are afraid of water on their terms - it’s just when mother nature decides to get involved.
Today...
It’s been a very long weekend and a very long day to boot.
I have a conference call tomorrow morning and it requires me working at 6 am to be prepared.
Let me be short:
I had an amazing weekend.
I wrote probably the first fully developed character of my life and it was SOLID. (B grade)
The sketch didn’t suck. (C grade)
