Why I Love My Roomates →
Why I Love My Roomates from Will Hutson on Vimeo. The setting: Last Saturday we had about 10 buddies over to watch the Tennessee game. We cooked a massive breakfast and proceeded to drink large quantities of adult beverages. The backstory: Tennessee had to win this game in order to play for the SEC Championship. After 4 overtimes they won. Here’s what happened when they won. It’s...

Jonathan Left Too?
Didn’t know Jonathan left as well?!  Vimeo is by far my favorite video sharing site and I’m posting this stuff more out of a genuine interest rather than gossip.  Regarding Jakob’s announcement, I am very shocked and shaken up, but I do want to say that while the loss of Jakob and Jonathan is huge, the good news is that all of us at Vimeo share their vision and passion and will...

Tim Ferriss Has Single Handedly Saved My Life →
I’ve hesitated sending out this link because I’ve got a creeping feeling that Tim’s work is polarizing. That said, his book “The 4 Hour Work Week” was the start of an amazing personal deconstruction and professional catharsis. His blog is a great feed for info and perspective - that said. Everything in moderation. At one point this summer was researching his...

Women in the Spring
I remember the first day of spring during college. How could I NOT. It was as if girls had been secretly working out for months just to unveil how delicious they looked in their new spring dresses. It was awesome.  A feast for the eyes - but not in a sick sorta way, more like a, “dear God I could hump her and not be upset about making a baby … because a baby with her could do no...

the onion is filling such a crucial void in the web with their content. think snl meets late night tv meets the daily show. all three of those types of outlets should be exceeding the onion on paper, but the onions content is straight up killing it.

RE: NYPress Article About Jakob, Julia et al
OK. Disclaimer:  I’m a sucker for romantic comedies and seeing the good guy get the girl. With all that said: I am an official nobody and feel I have the ability, especially living on the west coast and having never met these people, to speak from an unbiased place. Let’s say that they manipulated their connections and concocted a story and all the buzz that went along with it. ...

Getting Used to Famous People
Ok so I like entertainment a ton. Ever since I can recall I thought that celebrity was very novel. I am now (for the most part) over seeing famous people. Thankfully, LA is pretty chill to famous folks. I understand why a lot of them live here.

Today Was a Good Day

Put one software program into 30 incubator.  Did my Pre-writing for my new column I’m writing.  Had a great first day of Sketch A - so great.  Set up some great meetings for later in the week. Dear Tumblr,
Hey - what’s up. God … I’ve missed you … so much. I miss your interaction,  I miss some of the awful and totally opposite viewpoints of peoples tumblogs I subscribe too. So the Saying Goes...
Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life. A few times in my life I’ve had nights I couldn’t sleep because of that feeling. Last night I had that feeling and slept perfectly. Perhaps I’m coming to grips with the rest of my life.

Cooking During the Winter & Holidays
I love to cook. Cooking during the winter takes on a whole new shape because of our bodies naturally burning more (although probably not more than the balance we consume) calories during the season. Holidays are also a great time to bring friends together and socialize over a meal and good conversation. The timing has been perfect for me to get settled into our new home. It’s location in...

Watching Football on the Weekend
On the West coast football starts early - like 9am early. So instead of burgers and wings, a lot of times you’re cooking omlettes and drinking oj. Either way - watching football on the weekend - in the winter - is probably one of the clearest most nostalgic memories I have from childhood all the way up to  the present day. Just wish they’d show some USF games a little more out...

– PeterWKnox via JakobLodwick Via Peter’s original post My take: this could be the start of a great internet trend, people actually representing what they say and stand for, which in turn makes them actually think about what they, say, do, post online and hopefully - in their day to day lives...

My Theory on This Years Black Friday
I think that it will go down as one of the stupidest consumer binges of all time - but retailers will be chasing their tail to figure out what they did right. Stores were so slammed and items selling out so fast at the stores I went to in California that even the staff were surprised. I wonder how the market will react?
